Features

Built for speed at the draft table.

Command-line drafting, an Events-first toolset, architecture solids, and Studio 3D — one Windows app, layered licences.

Core 2D drafting still with command line

Core

2D drafting & command line

LINE, OFFSET, FILLET, ARRAY and AutoCAD-style aliases. Polar @d<a input, snaps, dual-unit readout, and Space/Enter to repeat.

Events venue drafting still

Events — ships first

Venues, seating, rigging, pick lists

Stage plots, seating layouts with egress checks (SANS 10400, BS 9999, NFPA 101 working limits), rigging reports that stay unsigned until a registered engineer signs, and warehouse pick lists.

Architecture plan still

Architecture

Walls, openings, storeys, sections

First architecture slice: walls, doors, windows, slabs, stairs, storeys, and cut sections. No Revit, no IFC claim yet — honest scope that grows as a layer.

Studio solids modelling still

Studio

Solids, Booleans, constraints

Push/pull, union/subtract/intersect, and an in-house constraint solver. Geometry runs through OpenCascade in a worker process so a solid crash doesn’t take the UI down.

Draftworks UI with tools and viewport

I/O

DXF now · DWG via ODA next

AutoCAD-grade DXF import/export (layers, xrefs, hatches, layouts→sheets). Native DWG waits on ODA membership before public launch — until then, exchange as DXF. Project files use .cxs.

Trial & licence

Full Studio while you try

Trial = full Studio. When it ends, the app stays open for view only — no edit, export, or save until you activate. Same Ops Hub licence shape as Raedia: PayFast (ZAR) / Paddle (USD).
